Giraffe Heroes honors Lynda Tsungirirai Masarira

Giraffe Heroes, an international organisation that supports people who excel in fighting for human rights and sacrifice for the betterment of others had earlier on honored Lynda as giraffe heroes who has defied all odds to fight for the respect of people1s rights especially of women, Giraffe heroes Zimbabwe said it is in solidarity with Lynda and calls upon the world to amplify the call to her freedom

Terry Mtsvangwa , who is currently in the USA under the YALI Fellowship said “, who is currently in the USA under the YALI Fellowship said “GHZ believes that the state intends to use the courts to punish and silence her, hence the world has to know, Linda is a mother and courageous woman who has stood up against tyranny ,a feat that a few woman dare to”.

So sad that the dear comrade has to languish for a longer period in custody. The court hearing started around mid day with Mbare Magistrate, Mambanje ridiculing the application to have the matter of over detention being referred to the Constitutional Court. In his ruling he dismissed the application and further remanded Linda in custody to 11 August 2016 . The defense counsel then applied to have Linda transferred to Mutare Remand to expedite the cancelling of another warrant of arrest in that city which technically contributed to her being denied bail.

Solidarity Invitation to Mbare Magistrate Court

Linda Tsungirirai  Masarira , the ZWIPA founder and National coordinator who has been arrested and denied bail early this month will be appearing in court tomorrow at 8: 30 at Mbare Magistrate court to answer trumped up charges of public violence ,ZWIPA and its affiliated people are calling upon the people of Zimbabwe to rally behind our CDE who is languishing in remand prison at Chikurubi Maximum prison.

Linda was arrested while he was in Mufakose in solidarity with protesting residence and was just handpicked by ZRP and was accused of having a hand in the subsequent violence that occurred in that location.
